The drive-thru line at a fast-food chain is wrapped all the way around the building, and we won’t tell you which one we’re talking about but there are golden arches, a clown named Ronald, and a whole lot of people starting their day with sugar, grease and regret.

And it’s not just here in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. This is the norm across the country. Thousands of Americans drive away with McHashBrowns, vats of McSyrup for McPancakes, McEggSandwiches and probably McSugaryFrappacinos to wash it all down.
